Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancelling a booking

Refund and cancellation terms are set by each event's organizer and shown on the event page. To cancel a booking, contact the organizer (their details are on their storefront page) or write to us at support@eventdio.com with your booking ID. If the organizer approves the refund, it is issued through Eventdio to your original payment method.

2. Event cancelled or rescheduled

If an organizer cancels an event, every attendee who paid for it receives a full refund of the ticket price to their original payment method. If an event is rescheduled, the booking stays valid for the new date; if you can't attend the new date, contact the organizer to ask for a refund.

3. Payment failed but money was debited

If money was debited but your booking didn't confirm, you don't need to pay again. We check every payment with the payment gateway automatically: the booking is either confirmed, or the amount is refunded to your original payment method in full. If you don't receive either within 24 hours, write to us with the transaction details.

4. Refund timeline

Approved refunds are initiated within 2 working days and usually reach your account within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank or UPI app. If it hasn't arrived after 7 working days, write to us with your booking ID and we'll share the refund reference to check with your bank.

5. Fees

The platform fee charged on a booking is non-refundable when a refund is requested by the attendee, unless the organizer decides otherwise. If an event is cancelled by its organizer, or a payment was debited without a booking being confirmed, the full amount paid is refunded.

Refunds are only made to the original payment method; we never ask for card details, UPI PINs or OTPs.
