Eventdio is a product operated by QAXPRO TECH LLP.
eventdio is committed to safeguarding personal data for event attendees and storefront organizers. We do NOT sell, rent, or trade personal data to third-party advertising brokers. Information collected is strictly utilized to issue digital QR tickets, facilitate gate check-ins, process transaction receipts, and enable host communication.

1. Information We Collect
When you interact with eventdio (such as registering for an event, purchasing a ticket, or initializing an event storefront), we collect necessary personal data:
- Identity & Contact Info: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Mobile Number, and WhatsApp Number.
- Dynamic Form Inputs: Custom attendee responses requested by specific event hosts (such as T-shirt size, emergency contact details, company name, or date of birth).
- Storefront Profile Data: Storefront name, contact email, WhatsApp notification number, custom domain slug, branding logos, and banner media.
- Organizer Payout & KYC Data: For Organizers who sell paid tickets — bank account details (account holder name, account number, IFSC), PAN, identity and address proof, organisation registration documents, authorised signatory details and GSTIN, collected to verify the Organizer and pay out ticket revenue.
- Gate Check-In Audit Logs: Timestamp, venue location, and check-in validation status recorded when your digital QR pass is scanned by gate staff.
- Technical Diagnostics: IP address, device type, browser identifiers, approximate location (city or state, worked out from the IP address), and security logs, used to prevent fraudulent checkouts and bot activity and to help with payment problems. The IP address, device and location recorded at checkout are deleted after 90 days and are not shown to Organizers. For a failed payment we also keep what the payment gateway reports about the attempt (payment method, bank or UPI app, and why it failed).
2. How We Use Your Information
Your personal data is processed strictly for legitimate operational purposes:
- Generating and issuing secure digital QR ticket passes.
- Facilitating gate validation via the eventdio mobile scanner application.
- Sending transactional booking confirmations, receipts, and WhatsApp alerts.
- Providing Organizers with attendee rosters and sales analytics.
- Validating coupon codes and preventing payment fraud.
- Verifying Organizers (KYC) and paying out their ticket revenue to their verified bank account.
- Meeting our tax, accounting and anti-money-laundering obligations under Indian law.
3. Data Sharing & Disclosure Controls
eventdio limits data sharing strictly to essential service fulfillment:
Data Recipient Safeguards:
1. Event Organizers: When you register for an event, your name, contact details, and custom form responses are shared with the specific Storefront Organizer hosting that event to facilitate roster management and venue admission.
2. Payment Service Providers: Financial billing data is transmitted directly to PCI-DSS certified payment processors (PayU, Razorpay). Organizer bank and KYC details are shared only with our payment partners and banks as needed to verify the Organizer and process payouts.
3. NO Third-Party Advertising Brokers: We do NOT sell, rent, or trade attendee databases to third-party ad networks or marketing brokers.
4. Spam & Abuse Protection: Event registration, sign up, password reset and contact forms use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people apart from automated bots. reCAPTCHA collects device and browser information and sends it to Google, under the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
5. Advertising Measurement: eventdio.com may use the Meta Pixel to measure how our own Facebook and Instagram ads perform: which pages were visited, and whether an account, storefront or event was created after an ad. It uses cookies and device information under Meta's Privacy Policy. We do not send your name, email, phone number or registration answers to Meta, and attendee data is never used for advertising.
6. Legal & Regulatory Compliance: We may disclose information if required by court order, law enforcement investigation, or applicable Indian laws.
4. Payment Security Standards
Financial transactions are processed through end-to-end encrypted PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. eventdio never stores sensitive credit card numbers, CVVs, card expiration dates, or net banking passwords on our servers. All online payment credentials are handled directly by payment gateway infrastructure.
5. Data Protection & Infrastructure Safeguards
We enforce comprehensive technical data security measures:
- End-to-end Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / SSL) for all network communications.
- Encrypted database storage with strict Row-Level Security (RLS) isolation.
- Hashed authentication credentials and secure session tokens.
- Automated threat monitoring and rate limiting to prevent unauthorized access.
6. Attendee Privacy Rights & Data Erasure
Under applicable data protection guidelines, attendees and organizers have the right to:
- Access: View registered tickets via the Member Portal or request a copy of collected data.
- Correction: Update inaccurate contact details or storefront profile information.
- Erasure / Deletion: Request permanent deletion of personal account records (subject to tax and venue audit retention requirements).
- Organizer KYC Records: Bank and KYC details are kept only as long as needed for payouts and for the period required by applicable tax and anti-money-laundering laws, after which they are deleted. Access is restricted to authorised Eventdio staff.
7. Cookies & Local Storage
eventdio uses essential session cookies and local storage tokens to manage authentication state, active storefront navigation, and modal preferences. We do not use intrusive cross-site tracking cookies.
